Nana T’s Scent House began with a grandmother, a granddaughter, and the joy of creating something together.

Hi, I’m Teresa Diaz—better known as Nana T. My granddaughter River, whom I lovingly call Chicka, gave me that name, and in a way, we named each other. What started as time spent experimenting with soapmaking became River Bloom Botanicals: a heartfelt family project shaped by curiosity, creativity, and love.

After more than 35 years in construction, remodeling, and restoration, I wanted a creative outlet that still let me work with my hands. I quickly discovered that making soap, body care, fragrance, candles, and home products felt wonderfully familiar. Like cooking or building, it is about understanding the materials, balancing the details, and turning an idea into something useful and beautiful.

As the collection grew, so did the vision. Nana T’s Scent House became the home for everything we create—bath, body, home fragrance, candles, laundry, gifts, custom scents, and hands-on workshops—founded by River Bloom Botanicals LLC in Sarasota, Florida.

Our heart is in small-batch making and personal creation. You can choose from our continuing scent collection, tell us the fragrance notes you love, or share a familiar scent as inspiration. Not every creation is an exact match, and no two handmade batches are perfectly identical. That individuality is part of what makes each Nana T creation special.

We also create custom gift baskets, personal and business gifts, and guided candle-making and soap, bath-and-body experiences for families, friends, couples, community groups, and celebrations.

Every product carries a piece of our story: family, resilience, imagination, and the belief that everyday moments deserve to feel special.
